Bluetooth is currently broken for some adapters in Debian, but it looks like there is a fix coming in the 5.11 kernel.

Patched kernel for testing at Canonical is 5.11.0.
Final release of 5.11 is expected sometime in mid-February, according to 9to5Linux.
